Challenges and Issues with Timeline/Storymap
While creating visuals for my digital exhibit, I created three different visual representations of my data: a timeline, a storymap, and a geospatial map.

As far as challenges, the most complicated part of creating three different visuals was simply finding different sources and topics for all three. I had the option to use provided data, but decided to use sources relating to my final project. This makes it was easier to incorporate them into my final project if wanted. The other complication was organizing my data and sources for the timeline. The google sheet where you input data was confusing and took a while to understand.
Why add these?
Adding visuals helps the reader understand the data easier and the weight the graph is trying to convey. Its an easier method than trying to read hundreds of data points and understanding how they relate. For my final, these visuals give a brain break to reading information constantly and add a fun interactive element to my project.
